The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has constituted a pre-evaluation committee to evaluate the performance of various categories of institutions for the purpose of awarding the ‘Independence Golden Jubilee Award’ 2023. In line with this, a pre-evaluation committee has been formed to evaluate the performance of asset management company category institutions.
Recently, this information has been informed in an office order of BSEC.
According to the order, a committee has been formed to evaluate the performance of asset management company category institutions for awarding the ‘Independence Golden Jubilee Award’ 2023 as per the ‘Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission ‘Independence Golden Jubilee Award’ Policy, 2021 (Revised)”.
The commissioner of BSEC is the convener of the committee. Md. Mizanur Rahman. BSEC Additional Director Mohammad Rakibur Rahman has been made member secretary.
ICB Chairman Dr. is a member of the committee. Suvarna Barua, Deputy Secretary of the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance. Mamunur Rashid, Executive President of BICM. Mohammad Tarek, ICAB President Mohammad Forkan Uddin and Capital Market Journalists Forum (CMJF) President Golam Samdani Bhuiyan.
Based on the list received from the selection committee, the committee has been asked to submit the performance evaluation report of the market intermediaries to the commission within 10 working days.
