In the TV series “4 Blocks” Kida Khodr Ramadan played a clan boss. Now the actor is confronted with the judiciary in real life: he is threatened with prison.

Actor Kida Khodr Ramadan, 47, star of the clan series “4 Blocks”, is facing time in prison. The background to this is a conviction for driving a car without a license on multiple occasions and a prison sentence of ten months. The Berlin-Tiergarten district court initially suspended this sentence on probation in February 2022. However, this has now been revoked, as a court spokeswoman announced on Thursday at the request of the German Press Agency.

Because At the same time as the sentence, Ramadan was ordered to pay 20,000 euros to charities within a deadline. However, this sum had not been paid in full at the time, so the district court revoked the probation, explained the spokeswoman. The actor defended himself against this – but his complaints were unsuccessful before both the Berlin Regional Court and the Superior Court of Last Instance. According to the court spokeswoman, all legal remedies have been exhausted. Ramadan must now expect that he will receive a summons to go to prison.

His defense attorney did not want to comment when asked by the German Press Agency, citing his duty of confidentiality. There was initially no comment from Ramadan himself or his management.
