If you believe the producers, it’s a world first. And one that has its origins in Austria: a few days ago the Linz telecommunications company emporia launched the very first tablet for seniors. The information is not correct: The US company GrandPad has been offering tablet computers for the elderly since 2014. However, emporia is the first company that could manage to bring such devices (broadly) to Europe and around the world.
