It is known that Shanty Alda has complied with the summons of KPK investigators to be examined as a witness in the Abdul Gani Kasuba case on.
However, the KPK has not explained the role and importance of examining Shanty Alda in this case.
“Of course, for the examination of witnesses carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission, the information they provide during the investigation process is confidential, especially regarding the details of the questions,” Yudi told reporters, Tuesday (26/3).
However, Yudi emphasized that the Corruption Eradication Committee should also be transparent and open to the public by conveying information regarding what Shanty Alda was being questioned as a witness in the alleged corruption case of Abdul Gani Kasuba.
“They actually have to be transparent and convey to the public what the witness is being questioned about, whether he has direct knowledge of the criminal corruption incident that occurred, or what his role is and so on. This means that it doesn’t have to be technical, but at least the public can get an idea of why the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is examining the Director of PT. “Smart Marsindo Shanty Alda,” he explained.
So, Yudi hopes that the Corruption Eradication Commission will continue to provide updated information to the public regarding the examination of witnesses in the alleged corruption case that involved Abdul Gani Kasuba.
