In memory of the Malaysian devotee’s dream, this couple, who are silk saree designers, engaged in the work and designed the slokas of the Lalita Sahasranama Archana on the computer without spelling errors and showed it to the Malaysian devotee Narayana Murthy and got permission to weave the saree.

Following this, the couple recited 1000 slokas of ‘Lalita Sahasranama’ chanting the praises of Goddess Kamakshi in tomato red pure silk thread from Vrat, using original silver lace, covering the whole body in the silk saree, the front of the saree showing Hayagrivar preaching the name of Lalita Sahasranam to Agathiyar, which Kanji Kamatshi recited. They have realistically woven and prepared the target scene.

18 cubits silk saree weighing 1kg 300g is designed using 700gms of 9 types of Nava Varnam silk thread and 600gms of pure original silver lace thread to weave Kanchi silk saree. This was kept at the Kanchipuram Kamatshyamman Temple and offered to Narayana Murthy, a staunch devotee of Kamatshyamman on Masi Magam Day.

Talking about this, Kumaravel-Gayatri couple, who have designed silk sarees, said that although they have designed and woven various images of Swami, they are proud to realize the soul satisfaction and the dream of a devotee through the Lakshmi Sahasranama silk saree that they have woven and presented.

Regarding this saree, Malaysian devotee Narayanamurthy said that it is native to Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu and is currently living in Malaysia and selling silk and cotton sarees.
