Popular comedian Suri had lodged a sensational complaint at the Adyar police station in Chennai. The former DGP has alleged that he had swindled Rs 2.70 crore to buy land in Siruseri next to Chennai. Ramesh Kodawala and filmmaker Anbuvelrajan were charged in the complaint.

Former DGP Ramesh Kodawala is the father of actor Vishnuvishal. Ramesh Godawala denied the complaint against him.

In this situation, the Chennai Central Criminal Division police have ordered to file a report within 6 months of the investigation. Chennai Central Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner Meena and Assistant Commissioner John Victor are directly investigating actor Suri’s complaint.

Actor Suri was questioned last month by Deputy Commissioner Meena and Assistant Commissioner John Victor. The day before yesterday, actor Suri was interrogated for the 2nd time. He was asked 100 questions and interrogated. Police have told Suri to come back for questioning if necessary.

The police also went to the Siruseri area where the actor had promised to buy land in Zurich and conducted an investigation. A similar complaint was lodged by a former DGP. Rameshgodawala and producer Anbuvelrajan will also be subjected to further investigation, police said.
