Ravi Shastri’s revelations after the coaching post became vacant
Ravi Shastri has resigned as coach following the T20 World Cup defeat. He was questioned in the revelations made after the vacancy, including the team selection for the ODI World Cup. Shastri said he did not understand why Karthik, Pant and Dhoni were the three wicket-keepers selected for the ODI World Cups.
Rayudu or Shreyas Iyer should have been included in the World Cup squad. Ravi Shastri, however, said that he would not interfere except in the matter of selection.
