The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, declared today, Wednesday, that Lebanon and Yemen are symbols of resistance, which shows that the Islamic Revolution is still alive.
Sayyed Khamenei, in his speech during his attendance at the ceremony commemorating the fifth martyrdom of the leaders of victory, in Husseiniya of Imam Khomeini (may God be pleased with him), and after the (INA ) said: “The protection of the holy shrines and Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of the founding principles of Hajj Qassem Soleimani.”
He added, “Thousands from inside and outside Iran visit the shrine of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, and this honor is God’s reward for the loyalty of the martyr Soleimani in this life,” indicating that ” martyr Soleimani’s role in irreplaceable Jihad, and his consistent strategy was to revive the resistance.”
He continued, “The protection of the Zainabiyya shrine, the holy shrines in Iraq, and Al-Aqsa Mosque are part of its founding principles,” noting that “the shedding of blood for the sake of God will not be wasted, and it is victory is certain. For those who promote rebellion today, they will be trampled under the feet of the believers on the Day of Resurrection.”
In response to those who say that the blood of the martyrs who defended the holy shrines was lost with the recent events, Khamenei declared, “If it were not for these lives and the Jihad, there would be no news today about the holy shrines in Holy. Karbala, the Holy City of Najaf, and the Holy Shrine of Zainabiyah,” pointing out that “the events of the past years “proved that the Islamic Revolution is still alive.”
He pointed out that “Lebanon and Yemen are symbols of resistance, and they will prevail, God willing,” praising “the role of the martyr, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, together with the martyr Soleimani in the battles,” at described him as “a great man.”
