An English press report revealed the latest developments in the crisis between Liverpool and the Egyptian national team, regarding the star Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool had submitted an official request to the Egyptian national team to exempt Salah from joining the Pharaohs’ camp this March, due to his failure to return from injury so far.
Salah suffered an injury while he was with the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations, which caused him to miss the Reds, before his return in the Brentford match.
But the injury occurred again, causing him to miss 3 more matches: Chelsea in the League Cup final, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
However, the Egyptian national team rejected Liverpool’s request, and new coach Hossam Hassan decided to summon Salah to the March camp.
According to the British newspaper “Dailymail”, the dispute between Liverpool and the Egyptian national team may escalate further after a member of the Egyptian Football Association failed to communicate with Salah.
The newspaper cited statements by Ihab Al-Komi, a member of the Egyptian Federation, in which he said: “The Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan, has not been able to communicate with Mohamed Salah yet. There has not been any meeting between the technical staff of Egypt and Mohamed Salah until this time.”
The newspaper confirmed that Egypt is very keen to improve relations with Liverpool after the two parties also clashed when Mohamed Salah left the African Cup of Nations early, to undergo a rehabilitation process with the Reds.
