The Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makkiya, discussed with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Korean Hanwha Company in Iraq, Jung Hoon Lee, the delivery of (1,444) housing units in the city of Bismayah to those entitled to it from previous years, very soon.

The Authority’s spokesman, Muthanna Ghanem, said in a statement received by the (INA), that “The Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makkiya, discussed with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Korean Hanwha Company in Iraq, Jong Hoon Lee, the schedules for handing over residential units in the city of Bismaya to citizens.” Those who have previously registered for the units in previous years.”
Makiya confirmed in the meeting, according to the statement, that “(1,444) housing units will be received by the authority from the Korean company very soon, and then delivered to the citizens who have registered for them since previous years,” explaining that the authority attaches great importance to the completion of the Bismayah city project, as it will save (100) thousand. A residential unit, with precise specifications.
He added, “The government program addressed the housing crisis through the policy of establishing new cities in Baghdad and the governorates, using the optimal investment method, and in accordance with sustainability standards,” noting that “the capital, Baghdad, will witness the establishment of more than one city with integrated services and infrastructure, and those cities will provide the best services to citizens, including the city.” Al-Jawahri, Ali Al-Wardi, and New Sadr City, in addition to Bismayah City.
It is worth noting that the National Investment Authority had previously announced lists of the names of citizens contracting to purchase housing units and those eligible to receive them.
