The twin-engine 19-seat aircraft, on the joint development and production of which Russia and Belarus have agreed, will enter commercial operation in 2028. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry Denis Manturov at the Innoprom exhibition.

The day before, July 10, in the Telegram channel of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus toldthat at Innoprom the republic and Russia signed a comprehensive program for cooperation in the field of aircraft manufacturing. In particular, the parties agreed on the joint development and organization in Belarus of serial production of a twin-engine 19-seat aircraft. It is planned that the project will be implemented by JSC Ural Civil Aviation Plant and JSC 558th Aviation Repair Plant.

Earlier, Belarusian Ambassador Dmitry Krutoy said that Manturov proposed to organize the assembly of Ladoga and Baikal small aircraft in the republic.

At the Innoprom exhibition, the Belarusian holding Integral signed a contract for the supply of electronic component base to Russia for 1.5 billion rubles. According to Andrey Buinevich, General Director of the company, the company is developing microelectronics together with Russian partners as part of a roadmap for the development of the microelectronic industry in the Union State.
