It’s been two days that the party is in full swing and that the revelers are more and more numerous. A rave party started Friday evening in Mayenne. They met in the town of Saint-Julien des Églantiers, not far from Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson, west of Alençon. The music was launched on private land, where the rave party now seems to have become a small end-of-summer habit.
On Saturday, the gendarmes estimated the number of people present at around 300. This number then continued to grow since the police estimated at 2,000 the number of revelers who continued to enjoy the moment this Sunday.
The first departures were expected around noon and the welcoming committee was already ready, according to our colleagues from the local press. Gendarmes were indeed located on the spot to stop vehicles and carry out road checks. All to monitor the alcohol level of partygoers who would have chosen to take the wheel after this long party.
Initially, the gendarmes spoke rather of a big party, but the mayor of Pré-en-Pail, Denis Geslain, mentioned to him on Saturday the holding of a real rave. “It looks more like a rave party than a birthday,” he commented to our colleagues from France Bleu, after going there to try to convince the organizers to lower the sound so as not to disturb the residents.. « We don’t know if the owner agrees and every year, in the same place it’s the same thing, ”he added.
