Medvedev advanced to the second round of the tennis tournament in Acapulco

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat Frenchman Benoit Pere in the first round of the tournament in Acapulco, Mexico. The game ended with the score 6:3, 6:4 in favor of the Russian.

Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC is a 500 category tournament. Medvedev participates in it for the first time in his entire career.

In the second round, the Russian will meet with the Spaniard Pablo Andujar. The prize fund of the tournament exceeds $1.6 million.
