On February 27, 2023, the citizens of Meghalaya will vote to elect a new 60-member Legislative Assembly. Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Election Results will be declared on March 2, 2023. The term of the current Legislative Assembly in Meghalaya ends on March 15, 2023. Ahead of the Meghalaya Assembly Elections 2023, all the political parties have released their list of candidates and their constituencies.
Nationalist parties like the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest all 60 seats in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. But the current ruling party National People’s Party (NPP) is contesting in 57 seats. Similarly, All India Trinamool Congress is contesting in 56 seats and United Democratic Party in 46 seats.
