Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology) issued a warning for the risk of storms in 46 municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul. The alert mainly covers the southern region and part of the southeast and northeast of the State.

There is a risk of rainfall of up to 50 millimeters, intense winds of 60 km per hour and hail.

The alert is valid for Água Clara, Amambai, Anaurilândia, Angélica, Aparecida do Taboado, Aral Moreira, Bataguassu, Batayporã, Caarapó, Cassilândia, Chapadão do Sul, Coronel Sapucaia, Costa Rica, Deodápolis, Douradina, Dourados, Eldorado, Fátima do Sul , Glória de Dourados, Iguatemi and Innocência.

Also under alert are Itaporã, Itaquiraí, Ivinhema, Japorã, Jateí, Juti, Laguna Carapã, Mundo Novo, Naviraí, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Nova Andradina, Novo Horizonte do Sul, Paraíso das Águas, Paranaíba, Paranhos, Ponta Porã, Rio Brilhante , Santa Rita do Pardo, Selvíria, Sete Quedas, Tacuru, Taquarussu, Três Lagoas and Vicentina.

The warning for the possibility of storms began in the early afternoon of Wednesday and will last until the end of the morning on Thursday.
