The region ranked 43rd in the country in terms of the number of loans issued in October. Residents are not stopped by the increase in interest rates and the rise in the cost of money issued by banks.
According to the specialists of the United Credit Bureau (OKB), in October, the Astrakhan Region remains at a high level of consumer loans. During the second month of autumn, citizens received 13.1 thousand loans, which is practically the same as last year. In relation to 2020, lending growth amounted to 23.8%.
Since the beginning of this year, banks have issued 123.4 thousand loans in the Astrakhan region. This is 32% higher than last year. According to experts, a large increase in lending in January – October 2021 is observed in the region due to high consumer activity.
In general, in the country in October this year, banks provided 1.6 million loans, which is 22% more than the same period last year. Since the beginning of the year, residents of the country have received 15.8 million cash loans, which is significantly more than 2020 and even 2019, when credit institutions issued a record 15.3 million loans.
