At least 60 people have been killed in a gas tanker explosion in Haiti, one of the Caribbean countries.
In Cape Haiden, the country’s second-largest city, a truck carrying petrol overturned and collided with a two-wheeler. The truck suddenly exploded as large crowds gathered to catch the fuel that had escaped. Many nearby buildings and vehicles were destroyed by fire.
The crash killed 60 people who were holding fuel in the truck. The Haitian government has ordered three days of mourning across the country to pay tribute to the victims.
