More than 750 passengers stuck at Ural airports due to bad weather

Several flights are delayed at the airports of Magnitogorsk and Orenburg due to weather conditions. Three aircraft landed at alternate airfields.

– At the airport of Chelyabinsk, two planes landed on their way to Magnitogorsk – an S7 Airlines flight from Moscow and an Ikar airline from St. Petersburg, – the press service of the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported. – The flight of the Nord Wind carrier on the Orenburg – Sochi route landed at an alternate airfield in Samara.

Due to snowfall, two Moscow flights were delayed in Orenburg. In total, more than 750 passengers are expected to take off at the airports.

Mobile receptions have been organized at the airports, the department noted.
