The Russian Embassy in the United States described the offensive statements made by US Vice President Kamala Harris yesterday, Tuesday, against Russian President Vladimir Putin as unacceptable.
A statement issued by the Russian Embassy via Telegram said: “We are upset by the unacceptable statements of US Vice President, (Kamala) Harris, directed against Russian President Vladimir Putin, and it must be recognized that rude expressions have become a habit among so-called “statesmen.” The current people in America, and this situation indicates the frustration and impotence of the ruling circles in Washington, are using offensive rhetoric due to the impossibility of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia.
According to the Russian embassy, “The American authorities must acknowledge that Russia is pursuing policies based on its national interests, and these statements “insult the entire Russian people, and it shows great unity and cohesion regarding our president.”
Earlier, Harris commented in an interview with Sirius Harris criticized this decision allegedly made by Trump, and insulted Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In turn, Trump campaign communications director, Stephen Chun, refuted the allegations contained in the book. Chun said in a statement: “All of these false stories about Bob Woodward are untrue,” and the White House refused to comment on Woodward’s allegations.
