The vehicles seized in the city of Avdiivka reveal that the United States delivered a large batch of this type to the Ukrainian armed forces, which is a means of transporting 120 mm mortar shells.
Russian military sources said that these mechanisms were not damaged and are in good technical condition, indicating that the equipment was simply abandoned before the Ukrainian forces fled.
The M113 armored personnel carrier was supplied to the US Army in 1961.
It was first used in combat in 1962 and has since participated in all armed conflicts involving the United States and its allies, including the Vietnam War.
In addition, a Turkish Kirby armored vehicle was captured, which was left in good condition by Kiev forces.
Russian forces also found a British Pinzgauer Vector 718 armored vehicle.
