In Barranquilla, authorities detained Liliana Monsalve, who is the mother of the National Queen of Bambuco, Isabel Sofía Henríquez Monsalve.

The Police in Barranquilla revealed a band called ‘Los Pepe – Mafiosos’. According to the authorities, this organization was dedicated to the cultivation of cannabis and the alleged marketing of synthetic drugs in a scheme that transcended borders, reaching countries such as Switzerland, Germany and the United States.

Among those allegedly involved in this network are meets Liliana Monsalve, renowned mother of the National Queen of Bambuco, Isabel Sofía Henríquez Monsalve. Monsalve, who ran a preschool and primary school in the Atlantic capital, has been captured in Barranquilla on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and drug trafficking.

The police operation that led to his capture also led to the arrest of 10 other people in a series of raids carried out in different locations, including Barranquilla, Soledad, Puerto Colombia, Manatí and Repelón. The investigation indicates that Monsalve directed this criminal organization in collaboration with an individual known as alias ‘Pablito’, both responding to orders. alias ‘Hanner’, who is the brother of Digno Palomino and leader of ‘Los Pepes’. It should be noted that the latter was previously related to the criminal gang known as Los Costeños.

The authorities continue with investigations to completely dismantle this criminal network and bring all those involved to justice.
