Marianne Maximi, LFI deputy for the first constituency of Puy-de-Dôme, called for this Wednesday evening the dissolution of Clermont Non Conforme. This far-right group was created in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) last March and has at least fifteen members, reports France Blue Country of Auvergne.

The request of the elected comes after a parade organized by ultra-right movements in Paris this Saturday. At least nine people belonging to far-right groups in Clermont-Ferrand took part in this demonstration. One of them has already been sentenced for serious violence in the past.

“We are seeing the increasing danger in the city, in the university environment, there are activists who have been attacked,” denounced Marianne Maximi. The MP explained that she refuses to let the members of Clermont Non Conforme “settle in our city, which has already suffered violence from the far right”. A brawl recently opposed activists of this movement to anti-fascists on the terrace of a café in the city.
