The Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov hosted a concert of the mugham group “Naz-Nazı” under the direction of People’s Artist, tar player Malik Mansurov.

As Day.Az reports, Trend Life was informed about this by the press service of the Philharmonic.

The evening was organized within the framework of the project “From Baku to Ganja” (Bakıdan Gəncəyə) jointly by the Ganja State Philharmonic Society, the International Mugham Center and the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.

Malik Mansurov (tar), Ibrahim Jabbarov (bass-tar), Saiyar Teymurov (drums), Mehta Muhammedzade (canon), Khayyam Jabbarli (oud), Abuzer Askerli (kamancha), Nushaba Kerimli (khanende), Mirali performed in the concert program. Saryzade (khanende), musicians from Iran – Parsa Khaef (setar, khanende), Araz Ghasemi (tar), Reza Mohammadi (kamancha), Yaver Zendabadi (oud).

The compositions “İz” and “Yarı-pünhan”, folk songs and dances “Xumar oldum”, “The head of the mountains”, “Gül tuştüsi”, “Qarabağ şikestesi”, “Çahargah dəramədi” etc. were presented under the applause of the audience.
