“Greece, fully aware of its historical responsibility, will reformulate “NO” as an intelligent response to any attempt to question its national sovereignty and sovereign rights”, declares the Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias, in his order of the day, with the occasion of the celebration of the national anniversary of October 28, 1940.

Mr. Dendias, after observing that the generation of Greeks of 1940 “showed national dignity, resisting beyond any correlation of forces to Fascism and Nazism”, urges the officers of the Armed Forces “inspired by the example of October 28, 1940, to continue diligently carry out your duties, based on our ideals and traditions.
The Greek people are looking to you. He knows that you are the guardians of the Greek land at all times and supporters of the society in every difficulty”, concludes the Minister of National Defense in his agenda.
