The management of the Najaf Al-Ashraf Sports Club expressed its extreme astonishment at what was rumored about the football team player, Muhammad Abdel Zahra, being infected with the Corona virus, stressing that the news is false and has nothing to do with the truth.

A member of the club’s administrative body and supervisor of the first football team, Fadel Muhammad Ali, said in a statement published by the club’s media office, followed by the (INA), that “the team’s players and the technical and administrative staff are safe and in good health,” explaining that “everyone is subject to continuous periodic examinations with Implementing all safety and prevention measures followed in light of the Corona pandemic, in addition to adhering to the health protocol before entering the team’s official training and matches, and under the direct supervision of the medical officer, Haitham Al-Jabri, who takes all necessary measures to ensure the players are protected from injury.”
