Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka, four-time Grand Slam winner, has announced that she is expecting a baby girl with rapper Cordae, revealing the child’s gender in an Instagram post:A little princess is on her way“. The 25-year-old ex-world No.1, who announced her pregnancy in January, illustrated her post with a photo of her, her baby bump in the foreground – surrounded by balloons and pink and lavender flowers. In another photo, American rapper Cordae bends down to kiss his girlfriend’s belly.
She had already shared an ultrasound image on Instagram, to reveal her pregnancy a few days after her withdrawal from the Australian Open. “2023 will be a year full of lessons for me, and I hope to see you at the start of (next) year as I will be back at the Australian Open 2024. I love you all so much“, she said then. Osaka hasn’t played a tennis match since last September, with her social media posts late last year showing her traveling around Europe with Cordae. The couple have been together since 2019.
