Today, March 22, Nauryz is celebrated throughout Kazakhstan and the entire Karaganda region. There were a lot of people in the Central Park of the regional center from the very morning: citizens came to enjoy the concert, socialize, treat themselves to national dishes and just take a walk. The moments of the holiday were captured by an ekaraganda.kz correspondent.

The theatrical festival “Kus Kanatyndagy Nauryz” began at noon on the Embankment Square of the Central Park of Culture and Recreation. The half-hour production featured artists from all city theaters and the Kali Baizhanov Philharmonic, demonstrating to the public the traditions of the most important spring holiday.

A little further from the stage, a stylized ethno-aul was organized: access, as promised, was provided to every yurt. Somewhere you can exclusively treat yourself to kumys, bauyrsak and other national dishes, somewhere you can appreciate the presented national costumes and other works of decorative and applied art. At the fountain, located on the road to the embankment, artisans and craftsmen are located: guests of the holiday are interested in purchasing stylized national accessories from them.

However, many visitors to the celebration in Central Park came to the celebration in national costumes – some even dressed their entire families in them. In addition, on the park alley leading to the embankment you can take pictures with golden eagles and Tazy dogs, treat yourself to hot, delicious pilaf and Nauryz kozhe.

The head of the region, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, also looked into the park: he also congratulated everyone on the holiday.

“I wish everyone good health, family well-being and all the best! Let this holiday be our happiest!”, noted the regional akim.

In the meantime, the concert program continues on the embankment – it will last until six o’clock in the evening: professional theater and philharmonic artists, amateur art groups will perform on stage, and in the evening a performance by the Kazakh pop star Ayree is announced.
