Lieutenant General Sami Sadat, Afghanistan’s former army commander, has vowed to launch a new war against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Taliban militants, who have been embroiled in a 20-year civil war in Afghanistan, launched a major offensive in August last year to seize control of the country.
Following this, all the senior officers and political leaders of the Afghan army fled the country and took refuge in many countries.
Lieutenant General Sami Sadat, a former army commander who has taken refuge in the British capital, London, has vowed to launch a new war against the Taliban.
He said he was preparing for war with ex-servicemen and politicians and that the war would begin next month after the Ramadan festival.
