The Ministry of Health confirmed the simplification of licensing procedures to encourage investors to invest in the health sector, as it approved 12 immediate health activities that are licensed within two to five working days, with the exception of hospitals, which take ten to twenty working days as a maximum to issue a license.
The Ministry stated that it had developed an electronic program for issuing health licenses to investors. To enhance the values of justice and transparency, facilitate obtaining the necessary licenses, and ensure a sustainable partnership with the private health sector, as this system automates all procedures and links with the relevant government agencies.
And it announced that it had added 7 new health activities in the executive regulations of the private health institutions system. There will be 41 health activities licensed by the Ministry, including general and specialized hospitals, general and specialized medical complexes, radiology centers and medical laboratories.
And she stated that she had prioritized the organization and re-engineering of licensing procedures for private health facilities, by setting the main frameworks for policies and procedures regulating their issuance, based on medical and occupational safety.
