NFL Star Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Reportedly ‘Quietly Hanging Out’
Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce has confirmed the dating rumors surrounding his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and pop superstar Taylor Swift. The rumors began to circulate earlier this month when it was reported that the two had been “quietly hanging out.” While neither Kelce nor Swift have confirmed the relationship, Jason Kelce believes that the rumors are “100 percent true.”
In an interview on the WIP Morning Show, Jason Kelce stated, “I think things are going great and I think it’s 100 percent true.” However, he also mentioned that he tries not to get too involved in his brother’s love life, stating, “His business is his business and I try to stay out of that world.”
Travis Kelce, who previously dated influencer and broadcaster Kayla Nicole, was first linked to Taylor Swift earlier this month. Reports suggested that they had been spending time together when Swift visited New York a few weeks ago.
Travis Kelce had initially tried to connect with Swift when her Eras tour came to Kansas City in the summer by giving her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. However, he revealed on his New Heights podcast that Swift didn’t want to meet him. Jason Kelce jokingly suggested that Swift may have refused to meet with Travis because of her known fondness for the Eagles.
Swift, who recently split from actor Joe Alwyn after six years, has dated an array of celebrities including Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas, and Calvin Harris.
Travis Kelce starred in his own reality dating show, “Catching Kelce,” in 2016, where he tried to find love. He made his season debut on Sunday, scoring a touchdown in the Chiefs’ win over the Jaguars.
Various sporting personalities have weighed in on the rumored romance. ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith stated, “Champions like champions. My brother, more power to you.” Rob Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion, suggested that Kelce and Swift would be the “No 1 Ken and Barbie in the NFL.”
While the couple has yet to confirm their relationship, it seems that many are excited about the potential union of the NFL star and the pop superstar.
