North American Tamil Association Council (2022-2024) Announces New Management Committee
The North American Tamil Association Council (NATAC) has announced the members of its new Management Committee for the years 2022-2024. The committee is comprised of elected representatives of Tamil Sanghas in North America and individuals living in North America who have contributed to the objectives of the Federation and become life members.
The newly appointed committee members are as follows:
– Chairman: Dr. Bala Swaminathan
– Vice President: Vijay Manivel
– Secretary: Kingsley Samuel
– Treasurer: Balamurali Kothandaraman
– Joint Secretary: Sivan Ilango
– Associate Treasurer: Ezhilan
– Panel Member: Pamila Venkat
– Youth Member: Amaran Kandiyar
– Youth Member: Yamika Ramesh
Additionally, the Board of Directors includes Asokan Thangarasu, Jansirani Prabhakaran, John Brito, and Ramya Ravindran.
The purpose of NATAC is to establish a centralized organization to promote and foster knowledge in Tamil language, literature, and culture. The organization also aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and understanding between the Tamil people and other cultures, as well as to promote better understanding and friendship between various Tamil Sanghas in North America and encourage the formation of new Tamil Sanghas.
NATAC also seeks to directly implement charitable organizations for the benefit of the Tamil community living around the world.
