Phillips has defended Man City since the summer of 2022, coming from Leeds United on a six-year contract, and played 31 matches with him in total, during which he scored one goal.
During his career with Spanish coach Pep Guardiola’s team last year, Phillips won five league titles, a local cup, the Champions League, the European Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.
