Director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniin Selvan released in theaters on September 30 and has been a success by collecting more than 250 crores. In this case, it was already announced that some Tamil films will be released in the first week of October. Namely, director Sundar C’s Koffee with Kadhal on October 5, Arun Vijay’s Border starring Arun Vijay on October 7, and Chaturanga Vedati 2, Kasetan Kodulauda and Re starring Aravindsamy-Trisha were slated to release on October 7.
But now Ponni’s movie Selvan is raining collections, new films release but because it will affect the collections, all the films have postponed the release date after Diwali. Because of this, it is said that only Ponni’s Selvan will run in the theater till Diwali festival. And if there is no release then Karthi’s Sardaar and Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince will be the only new releases on Diwali festival.
