Thiruvananthapuram – On the occasion of Onam, government employees will be given Rs 4,000 as bonus and those who are not eligible for bonus will be given Rs 2,750 as special festive allowance, Minister KN Balagopal has announced. 1000 will be given as special festive allowance to service pensioners and retired employees under the Participatory Pension Scheme. ,
20,000 will be given as Onam advance to all government employees. 6,000 advance for other employees including part-time-contingent. All categories of employees, including contract-scheme workers who received Utsava Batta last year, will get Utsava Batta this year at the same rate.
Minister K. N. Balagopal said that the special assistance is reaching more than 13 lakh employees and workers on the occasion of Onam.
