He added, “Today’s training was accompanied by scattered rain showers that Basra Governorate witnessed today since the early hours of the morning, and was attended by the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, the first and second representatives, Ali Jabbar and Younis Mahmoud, and the members, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, Firas Bahr Al-Ulum, and the Secretary-General.” Muhammad Farhan, providing support and assistance to our team before facing the Philippines national team in the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals.”
He continued, “On a related level, the press conference regarding the confrontation with the Philippine national team will be held on Wednesday, and it is hoped that the national team coach, Jesus Casas, will be at the press conference tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. 16:30 in the conference hall of the Minawi Pasha Hotel in Basra.
