The New Zealand cricket team will visit Pakistan to play a five-match T20I series next month. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the schedule for this tour on Wednesday (March 13).
According to the schedule, the New Zealand cricket team will reach Pakistan on April 14. Will practice on April 16 and 17.
The first T20 of the series will be played in Rawalpindi on April 18. Two more matches will be played at the same venue on April 20 and 21. After that, the remaining two matches of the series will be held in Lahore on April 25 and 27.
This will be New Zealand’s third visit to Pakistan in the last 17 months. New Zealand toured Pakistan in 2022-2023 (December-January) to play two-match Test and three-match ODI series. Then in April 2023, they went to play a five-match ODI and five-match T20 series.
The Test series was drawn 0-0. New Zealand won the ODI series 2-1. Then the five-match T20 series was drawn 2-2. Pakistan won the one-day series by a margin of 4-1.
Earlier this year, Pakistan toured New Zealand to play five T20 matches. Lost 4-1. It remains to be seen how the result of their series at home will be.
