As part of the “Music in the Museum” project, implemented by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan National Museum of Arts, another concert was held, Day.Az reports.
Participants of the project “Supporting youth” of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev performed at the concert – laureates of republican and international competitions Talib Iskenderli (baritone), Jalil Bashirli (tar), Lala Akhmedova (piano), Sura Rufat (violin), Mehin Zalyeva (piano), Orkhan Alizade (tenor), Orkhan Movlan (tenor), Jalala Ismailzade (cello), Abid Chalabiev (keyman) and Ali Veliev (piano).
Also, the audience was pleased with their performance by the choir group and members of the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble named after Fikret Amirov under the direction of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, choirmaster Naala Baratelia.
The evening featured works by Azerbaijani and foreign composers.
As part of the concert program, which was met with great interest, guests got acquainted with the exhibition “Salam, Novruz!”
