Legal Action:
The Neyveli township police have registered a case against Anbumani Ramadoss and 197 BJP workers involved in the protest. The police cited the lack of permission for the demonstration as the reason for taking legal action. Violence during the Protest:
Additionally, the police have registered a case against 28 other individuals, including two minors, for their involvement in violence during the protest. These individuals are accused of pelting stones at the police and damaging police vehicles. Charges filed against them include rioting, armed rioting, obstruction, wanton wounding, voluntary causing hurt, obstruction of a public servant from duty, assault, criminal force, criminal intimidation, and intent to murder.

Arrests and Detention:
Out of the 28 individuals involved in the violence, 26 have been arrested and are currently in jail. The two minors have been sent to a government remand home in Cuddalore.

Conclusion:
The conflict between the farmers, NLC India Limited, and the authorities continues to escalate, resulting in multiple detentions and legal cases against those involved in the protests. The situation highlights the ongoing struggle between development projects and the rights and interests of local communities.
