They have set up a huge festival set in Theni and filmed the song scene. Besides, the house of Hero Karthi, one was set up at a cost of one crore. The Ayyanar Temple with another set of swords has attracted the attention of the people of Theni. A five-and-a-half-foot-tall statue of British Colonel John Penniquick, who built the Mulla Periyar Dam for the agricultural and drinking water needs of the surrounding people, was erected and filmed. During the filming, many people were amazed at the elegance of the statue.
Aditi Shankar, who is making his debut in the film, had stayed in Theni for a few weeks before the release of ‘Viruman’ and got used to the people there and did his homework.
Following Madurai and Theni, the final phase of filming is taking place in Chennai. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film which is being produced by Surya.
