In the village of Troitskoye, located in the south of Sakhalin, power supply was restored, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the regional government.

Let’s remind, on the night of Thursday in Troitsky there was an accident on gas supply networks. As a result, more than two thousand people living in 23 multi-apartment and 189 private houses were left without light and heat.

Governor Valery Limarenko in his Telegram channel said that from 12 o’clock local time (4.00 Moscow time) a phased connection of houses to gas began.

“During the pressure testing of gas supply systems, a problem was identified in four houses. Gas was supplied to all the rest starting from 12 o’clock according to the schedule,” the head of the region noted.

He promised that the specialists would do everything possible to connect the remaining houses to the gas by the evening. So far, heat guns will be installed in the entrances, and residents will be provided with heaters to prevent the heating systems from freezing.
