‘Radha Shyam’ is a movie directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The film is produced by UV Creations.

Both Prabhas as Vikramaditya and Preranava as Pooja Hegde have done exactly the required contribution to the entire romantic film. Throughout the film the two characters are the only main ones so they realized it correctly and acted well.
Fewer supporting cast include Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Sachin Kadekar, Priyadarshi, Jegapathi Babu and Murali Sharma. Among them Sathyaraj, Jayaram and Sachin Kadekar have added strength to the film with their mature acting. The story is told to us through the voice of Sathyaraj.
Justin Prabhakaran’s songs and Daman’s background music make the film interesting. Composer Justin may have tried even better because the songs are important in a romantic film. But the songs don’t seem to be greatly diminished as they come as montages.
Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa treats the eyes with a colorful visual system. Through live and VFX footage, the crew gave the impression of traveling to Europe, such as Italy and London.
The story takes place in the 1976s. Prabhas makes his debut in a scene where he predicts his future for former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Some of the scenes like this are impressive in the picture.

The pre-break scenes are well written, including the twist that occurs in the story before the final scene. Although the film has been translated into Tamil, Madan Karki’s verses give the impression of watching a live Tamil film.
The first half is full of love scenes between Prabhas and Pooja. But they are superficial without causing any stress. So that could not be one with the film. It remains to be seen whether Prabhas and Pooja will reunite in the finale. But the final scene did not make an impact as the love scenes for the two had no impact.
It is not even clear why Prabhas is falling in love with Pooja Hegde who is determined never to fall in love. This Radhe Shyam would have been a good romantic film if it had shown the initiative to make a world class film, even with a little screenplay.
