Kollam: Vaccination of children between the ages of 15 and 18 will be held at 10 am today at Victoria Hospital. Mukesh MLA will inaugurate. Vaccination will be available on the first day at all health centers and major hospitals in the district. Available at Primary Health Centers and Family Health Centers on all four days except Wednesday.
Children’s vaccination centers will also be open on Sundays. A pink board will be displayed here for identification. Each educational institution should provide the District Education Officer and the RCH Officer the number of vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons. Parents can register through their current account or new number. Spot registration can also be done. Collector Afsana Parveen said that they should come to the vaccination center with identification documents, record the exact details and meet the Kovid norms. You can register on the Covin portal and get vaccinated.
The Department of Education will provide assistance to children who are unable to register on their own. Children who are unable to register for any reason can register at the vaccination centers and receive the vaccine. Each educational institution must provide the District Education Officer with the number of people who have been vaccinated and those who have not. A copy should also be given to the RCH Officer.
Kovid to 172 people
Kollam 17 Kovid confirmed 172 persons in the district yesterday. 155 people were infected by the Kovid through contact. Kovid confirmed seven were from abroad, five from other states and five from health workers. In Kollam Corporation, 33 people were infected. Among the municipalities, Karunagapally-8, Punalur-7, Paravur-6 and Kottarakkara-4 are the Kovid victims.
In the panchayats Chavara – seven, Chathannur and Anchal six each, Mayyanad – five, Alayaman, Kummil, Chirakkara, Poruvazhi and Sooranad north four each, Ittiva, Oomannur, Erur, Kunnathoor, Chadayamangalam, Pooyapalli and three outlying areas were affected.
