jpnn.comJAKARTA – Commander of the Indonesian Fleet Command (Koarmada) I Rear Admiral TNI Achmad Wibisono carried out an inspection of the Indonesian Navy’s warship (Admiral Inspection) and exit broadcasting at the Sunda Kelapa pier, Koarmada I Pondok Dayung Ship Unit Complex, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Sunday (24 /3/2024).
The inspection was carried out by Admiral Achmad Wibiono explaining the acceptance ceremony for his replacement candidate, Rear Admiral TNI Yoos Suryono.
During the inspection, the Commander of Armada I used the Yusdhistira Navy Ship (KAL) to surround the Fleet Command Ship Unit Complex Base I and continued with Exit Broadcasting which was carried out at KRI Jhon Lie (JOL)-358.
Admiral inspection is a tradition within the Indonesian Navy to check the readiness of Navy elements for the last time before the baton of leadership is handed over.
Apart from being a means of saying goodbye to his soldiers, this activity was also an opportunity to introduce the new Commander of Koarmada I.
After carrying out the sea inspection, Commander of Armada I, Rear Admiral TNI Achmad Wibisono delivered his remarks which were broadcast and received by all warships of Koarmada I.
Head of the Information Service for Fleet Command I, Marine Lieutenant Colonel (P) Yoni N Kusumawan, said that the handover ceremony from Rear Admiral TNI Achmad Wibisono to his successor Rear Admiral TNI Yoos Suryono would be held on Monday, March 25 2024 with the ceremonial inspector of the Commander of the Indonesian Fleet Command (Pangkoarmada RI) TNI Vice Admiral Denih Hendrata.(Fri/Jpnn)
