jpnn.comJAKARTA – Executive Director of Indo Barometer M Qodari highlighted the meeting between the General Chair of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh and the elected presidential candidate number 02, Prabowo Subianto, on Friday, March 22 2024.
According to Qodari, Surya Paloh’s maneuver gave rise to speculation.
Qodari believes that Surya Paloh will bring the Nasdem Party closer to Prabowo-Gibran and join the government.
“This attitude emerged when Surya Paloh, as general chairman of the party supporting Anies-Muhaimin, became the first figure from the rival camp in the 2024 presidential election to congratulate Prabowo-Gibran,” said Qodari, Saturday (23/3).
In fact, said Qodari, party elites from the coalition of change (PKB and PKS) are preparing legal action to challenge the decision of the General Election Commission (KPU) regarding the determination of the 2024 Election results to the Constitutional Court (MK).
However, said Qodari, Surya Paloh’s maneuver to meet the elected presidential candidate Prabowo was not too surprising.
Surya Paloh opened political communication early with his rivals, including President Jokowi after the 2024 presidential election voting.
Qodari said Surya Paloh’s maneuvers were inseparable from his background as a former Golkar politician.
