Exactly fifty-three years after the death of his father, Alessandro Quasimodo wanted to retrace the places of the Amalfi Coast dear to the Nobel Prize for literature in 1959. The cardiologist Ulisse Di Palma and the emergency room manager Franco Lanzieri announced that they had asked the general management to name the hospital emergency room after Salvatore Quasimodo.
