Rabbi Haim Druckman’s condition worsened after contracting the corona virus

Rabbi Haim Druckman, one of the leaders of the religious Zionist nation of Hayom Hayom (Sunday) is sick with Corona and his family asked the public to pray for his recovery.

Druckman, born in 1932, serves as the head of the Or Etzion yeshiva, as the rabbi of the center Shapira settlement and as the president of the Hesder yeshiva union. He is the chairman of the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva and Studio Center and a member of the movement’s national board. Druckman previously served as a member of the Knesset and as deputy minister of religion. In 2012, Druckman won the Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement.
