Reportedly, Rajinikanth is teaming up with Jai Bheem director after ‘Jailor’ directed by Nelson. Reportedly, Rajinikanth will be acting in Suriya-starrer Jai Bheem director TJ Gnanavel’s new film. It is also reported that the film will be produced by Lyca Productions. This has been tweeted on the Letscinema Twitter account. But no industrial announcements have come about this.
Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting Jailer. As the name suggests, Rajinikanth plays a ‘jailer’ character. Mohanlal also appears in a cameo role in the film. Nelson himself is writing the screenplay and directing the film. Kannada actor Shivrajkumar is also playing a role in it. Ramya Krishnan also plays the lead role.

The name of the character played by Rajinikanth in the film is Muthuvel Pandian. After Beast, the film directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is produced by Sun Pictures. This film also has the distinction of being Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan’s first film after Padayappa. Malayalam actor Vinayak is also playing the lead role. Jailer is Rajinikanth’s 169th film. Jailer is being produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the film.
Stunt Siva is the action choreographer of the film which falls under the action drama genre. The cinematography of the film is handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan.
