During this, while he told that he had undergone a major surgery in this hospital, while giving a speech as the chief guest, he also jokingly mentioned the elections. Rajinikanth said that there is an election atmosphere in the country and in such a situation he is afraid to even open his mouth. Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in India in seven phases which will start in the month of April.

Talking about the hospital during his address, Rajinikanth said, ‘Earlier when asked where Kaveri Hospital is, people used to say that it is near Kamal Haasan’s house. Now when asked where Kamal’s house is, people say that it is near Kaveri Hospital. Rajinikanth, while having fun with the media people present there, said, ‘Media people are also here… I want to say that these are just normal things. Now don’t write further that Rajinikanth messed up with Kamal Haasan.
Rajinikanth said laughingly – I am scared to speak
Rajinikanth further said, ‘Actually I did not want to speak here at all, but I was asked to say a few words. When I asked him whether people from media houses would also be there in the programme, he said that there would be some. But now I am scared seeing all these cameras in front. This is also election time. I am scared to even exhale. (laughing).’
