Mumbai: A surprising case has come to light in Bandra East. Here a 23-year-old woman has filed a complaint against the manager of a private company at Kherwadi Police Station Mumbai on Wednesday. In this complaint he has alleged that his father has passed away. She is making rounds of the office for her provident fund payment and the HR of her father’s company misbehaved with her. He demanded sex from her and said that if she did not do so, she would not get her father’s PF money.
Police said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the girl. Police are investigating the allegations. The police have not arrested the accused yet. Further action will be taken after investigation.
Father died in 2015
Police said the woman, who worked as a domestic help, lives with her younger brother and grandmother. His parents were divorced. His father passed away in 2015. She was only 15 years old then. The company where her father worked had nominated his daughter as its PM. He was to get the PF amount when he turned 18 years old.
The victim has been trying for a long time
In the complaint, the 23-year-old victim said, ‘Despite submitting several forms to claim the PF amount, I did not receive the payment. After being informed that my father’s file was with the company manager, I faced further delays. When I contacted the HR manager, he asked for sexual relations to speed up the payment.
The girl recorded
Police said the victim collected evidence of these conversations. He handed over the audio of conversation with HR and WhatsApp chat to the police and then informed the police. Police registered a case against HR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.
