Bangladesh-Saudi Arabia Parliamentary Partnership Group has recommended production and export of agricultural products with Saudi Arabia.
This recommendation was made in the first meeting of the Bangladesh-Saudi Arab Parliamentary Friendship Group at Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan on Thursday (March 21). The meeting was chaired by Maitri Group President Salman Fazlur Rahman.
In the meeting, members of the alliance group. Abdur Razzak MP, AFM Ruhul Haque MP, Faridul Haque Khan MP, Md. Tipu Munshi MP, Md. Shahriar Alam MP, Sazzadul Hasan MP, Dr. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul MP, Ahmed Firoz Kabir MP and Sultana Nadira MP participated.
In the meeting, it was recommended to utilize the existing good relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia to exploit the potential of agricultural production and export. In the meeting, it was recommended to discuss the development of relations between the two countries and achieve economic growth through the exchange of medical professional and pharmaceutical products.
Salman Fazlur Rahman said that economic cooperation will contribute to the development and prosperity of both countries by increasing trade and investment between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the IPA Director of the National Parliament and the relevant senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat.
